Synopsis
湘西匪患严重，解放初期，我人民解放军英勇剿匪的故事就曾在这里上演，号称"东北虎"的我方英雄刘玉堂智斗土匪头目"钻山豹"的故事更是家喻户晓。该剧描写了解放军剿匪小分队队长，人送外号“东北虎”的刘玉堂为首的剿匪小分队依靠当地人民群众与匪首田大榜、钻山豹，国民党女特务四丫头等展开的一场殊死的斗争。
