Synopsis
影片获得威尼斯电影节评审团特别奖和新锐演员奖。讲述1920年代塔斯马尼亚岛的一名21岁爱尔兰囚犯克莱尔被判7年徒刑，她非常渴望摆脱虐待她的主人霍金斯中尉，而后者拒绝释放克莱尔。克莱尔的丈夫艾丹进行了报复，而中尉和他的密友们因此对她犯下了可怕的罪行。 由于无法从英国当局得到公正的审判，克莱尔决定追捕霍金斯，霍金斯却突然离开岗位，想得到北部的一个上尉职位。她只能求助于年轻的土著猎人比利，比利不情愿地带领她穿过崎岖的荒野，去寻找霍金斯。
