Synopsis
距离明堂大礼只有一天的时间，南宋都城临安府内突发命案，民众纷纷传言是夜游神又来惩奸除恶了。只有一天的破案时间，案件又如此扑朔迷离，京城临安府府尹夏侯言决定请来一名奇人相助，名曰宋慈。夏侯言立即修书一封，快马送出。 宋慈数年前参加科考，得中进士。却因其父身体原因，不得不放弃官衔，留守家中以尽孝道。这日，一封书信被快马加鞭送到了宋慈手上。信件中的案情描述让宋慈坐立不安，面对反对的声音，宋慈以国家大义为重，力排众议，决定独自前往临安，为国家排忧解难，破案抓凶。
