Synopsis
民国上海滩第二大帮派兴东帮老大八爷遭人暗算，在政府扫黑压力下无奈去警察局自首，二当家书生和三当家狗爷纠集各自团伙争夺继任帮主之位。双方僵持不下途中接到线人密报，八爷乘坐的汽车在去往警察局的路上被炸，继任帮主将代替八爷去警局自首。这时四当家手雷赶来劝解，将对帮主之争产生怎样的影响？八爷夫人小凤仙派申报记者潜入警局，又探得怎样的内幕？一场精心谋划的骗局，将所有人卷入了不可预料的生死漩涡……
