Synopsis
某部队特务营参谋杨青山转业到蓬台市农业局工作，被市委组织部下派到崮山沟村任新农村建设工作指导员。期间，杨青山从转变农民养鸡专业户松散、粗放的陈旧观念入手，通过筹集资金、组建养鸡合作社、整合社会资源，与上市的八仙牧业公司配套“联姻”等途径，将该村家禽养殖户建设成为科学、规范并与国际标准化接轨的现代化示范养殖基地，带领农民走上了一条适应社会主义市场经济发展的新型农村致富道路，取得了党领导农村工作的新经验，树立了组织部门下派干部扎实工作、勤奋自勉、正派务实的共产党员新形象……
