Synopsis
伊丽莎白公主（克莱尔·福伊饰）与希腊王室成员菲利普（马特·史密斯饰）结婚，5年后，温斯顿·丘吉尔（约翰·利特高饰）成为英国首相，而乔治六世（杰瑞德·哈里斯饰）因病逝世，传王位于伊丽莎白二世，从面对英国王室纷繁复杂的家庭、社会琐事，以及在诸多事务中，伊丽莎白二世慢慢地从妻 子到女王的身份转变历程中成长。后来，与首相丘吉尔联手重塑大英帝国 。
