Synopsis
本片是经典电影《毕业生》的外传，情节围绕女主角的身世之谜展开的。
该片也是詹妮弗·安妮斯顿和前夫布拉德·皮特离婚之后推出的首部影片。
sarah(詹妮弗·安妮斯顿 Jennifer Aniston 饰）是一名专门撰写讣告的女记者，在一次偶然的机会中，她发现自己的祖母很可能是经典电影《毕业生》中“罗宾逊太太”的原型，而她从来不知道自己的父亲是谁。于是，她决定回老家把自己的身世查清楚。在此过程中，她遇到了那位神秘的风流倜傥的老帅哥Mr.Burroughs(凯文·科斯特纳 Kevin Costner 饰)，却也不知不觉被他吸引，还有了一夜风流。sarah的未婚夫无法接受sarah的出轨而与她发生争执。随着真相浮出水面，似乎家中的老少三代的女人竟然都和同一个男人“有染”，简直令人无法接受……
