Synopsis
Theyearis1958,andSweden'sfirstfemalepoliceofficersgraduate;asmallgroupofpioneerstakingabigstepforgenderequalitybutstrugglingtotakeeventhesmalleststepthemselves,astheskirtsthey'reforcedtowearchafelikesandpaperagainsttheirthighs.Theyareridiculedbythepublic,belittledbythemedia,andscornedbytheircolleagues.Thenewrecruitsareplacedinthecountry'smostcrime-riddendistrict;theKlarapolicedistrictinStockholm,andastheystartpatrollingthestreetsofStockholm,theysoonrealizethattheirbiggestproblemisn'tthecriminals;instead,theresistancecomesfromcolleaguesandtheirownfamilies.
