Synopsis
1968年，红艳和李援朝不顾家庭出身的阻碍而相爱，两人私奔并伪造档案参加了建设兵团。到达边疆后，红艳怀孕，整个事件暴露。5年后，死亡谷大火，花儿父亲为救红艳的儿子念朝而牺牲。77年知青回城，红艳离开，请花儿收养念朝，改名为巴图。2010年，已成富商的李援朝病危，希望儿子回来继承产业，巴图拒绝，继续留在草原照顾花儿。
