Synopsis
故事改编自乔纳森·雷蒙德的小说《半条命》，雷蒙德和导演雷查德共同改编，设定在十九世纪二十年代（即1820s）的俄勒冈，一个西方厨子Cookie(约翰·马加罗饰演)来到荒蛮的西部碰运气，遇到了同样前来寻找机会的中国移民KingLu(奥瑞恩·李饰演)，两人一见如故，并借着一头奶牛合伙做起了生意。
