Synopsis

　　故事发生在20世纪的60年代末，霍华德（瑞斯·伊凡斯 Rhys Ifans 饰）是一位大学教师，一个名叫朱迪（科洛·塞维尼 Chloë Sevigny 饰）的美丽女孩出现在了他的生命力，就此彻底改变了他的一生。为了吸引朱迪的注意，霍华德的脑袋里产生了一个疯狂的念头，他辞去了教师的职位，竟然摇身一变当起了毒贩。　　贩毒生活充满了惊险与刺激，霍华德凭借着自己的聪明才智和专业知识逐渐建立起了牢不可破的毒品网络，一时之间，他成为了街头巷尾报纸杂志上的奇谈。然而，随着时间的推移，就当霍华德的名气越来越大之时，在巨大的压力之下，这位传奇毒贩的精神也走到了濒临崩溃的边缘。
