Synopsis
超级马拉松赛跑者大学博士大卫·霍顿酷爱跑步，他打破了两项世界纪录。在他学生的毕业典礼上，他的学生宣布了他即将参加环美徒步比赛。知道这一消息后他的妻子南希极力反对他去参加，在和她妻子一番交流之后他仍然义无反顾的参加了比赛。她的妻子送他来到机场，霍顿飞往比赛地点的始发站亨廷顿海滩。霍顿开始了他为期64天的长跑。
