Synopsis
比利（茱莉亚·路易斯-德瑞弗斯 Julia Louis-Dreyfus 饰）和丈夫皮特（威尔·法瑞尔 Will Ferrell 饰）结婚多年，两人共同养育着两个孩子艾玛森（阿蒙·雅各布·福特 Ammon Jacob Ford 饰）和芬（朱利安·格雷 Julian Grey 饰），这一家四口俨然是旁人眼中模范家庭的典范。 这一天，一家人决定前往位于阿尔卑斯山的滑雪胜地度假，事故发生的时候，他们正在露台享用他们的午餐。雪崩就这样以迅雷不及掩耳的速度袭来了，露台上的所有人都成为了它想要吞噬的目标，在这个生死攸关的节骨眼上，皮特第一反应竟然是拿上自己的手机，一个人逃命。幸运的是，比利和孩子们并无大碍，但对于皮特来说，这也许并不是一件幸运的事情。
