Synopsis
成为日本社会合格的一份子需要具备哪些特质？为了找出答案，导演对东京一所公立小学的一年级和六年级学生进行了为期一年跟拍观察，除揭示师生如何互动和塑造彼此，也观察到日本与其他国家不同的教育方式与严苛的教育体系，并藉此窥见日本的未来。孩子们在学习知识的同时，也必须学习自律、团体精神和良好的举止。个人主义与团体和谐之间的微妙平衡，几乎每天都在学校受到考验。孩子们从小就被灌输自律、集体和礼貌等观念，这些价值观虽然重要，但是否也为小孩们埋下更深层的社会压力？
