Synopsis
两年前，丹尼尔·内曼的妻子被绑架而失踪。邦匪被击毙，没有人能找到受害者，甚至不知道她的死活。就在丹尼尔准备放弃的时候，他在电视上看到了一个女人并认定那就是他的妻子。他开始顽强的调查。他和老朋友瑞纳尔德来到电视上的那个地点。瑞纳尔德的妻子身患癌症，因此他非常理解丹尼尔。两个人从此卷入了与黑帮的斗争，差点送命。瑞纳尔德的妻子就要离开人世，她拒绝见任何人。又一次，丹尼尔的努力付诸东流。就在这时，丹尼尔无意中发现瑞纳尔德的妻子早已死于癌症。那么，住在瑞纳尔德家里的女人究竟是谁呢？
