Synopsis
影片描绘了年轻富农安德烈的人生。安德烈受过教育，聪明又强壮。他的妻子克鲁特为人温柔且宽容。他们一起购入了一个荒废的农场，想要在这里开始新人生。他们的邻居佩尔鲁粗鲁又拒绝合作。安德烈想要和佩尔鲁一起修水渠，却始终矛盾不断。佩尔鲁还杀害了他的猎犬，甚至布置现场让安德烈无法控诉他的罪行。安德烈认为佩尔鲁是个彻头彻尾的无赖，一心寻求报复，克鲁特则总是从中调停丈夫和邻居的矛盾。岁月流逝，“正义”成为了安德烈心中最重要的事物，可这份“正义”却只为他带来了孤独。
