Synopsis
1927年，地下党员钱壮飞（孔祥玉饰）为了保护自己离开北平，化装成医生，转移到上海。抵达上海后，钱壮飞与党失去了联系。然而，他却得到了同乡、国民党中央秘书科陈立夫的表弟徐恩曾的青睐。徐恩曾邀请钱壮飞加入中央党务调查科，并对他的才能给予赏识。不久后，钱壮飞重新与地下组织建立了联系，并得到中央的批准，要求他打入敌人内部，长期潜伏下去。
