Synopsis
哑女徐秋玲小父母双亡，虽与何世翔青梅竹马，但翔父以门户不当反对二人结合。翔回城念书，翔四叔季卿欺玲病哑，向玲施暴。玲因奸成孕，被养母逐出家门，幸得翔友郑英琦安顿照顾，并写信促翔归来。卿恐丑事被揭，诬陷玲与琦有染，更派人强行将玲弃于荒野。玲有口难言，诞下一子后，抱子返何家交予卿，众人始知卿作孽。至此，翔不理父亲反对，偕玲离去。
