Synopsis
凯尔（罗比·阿梅尔RobbieAmell饰）是一名海军陆战队队员，忠心耿耿的军犬麦克斯是他的搭档和战友，两人穿梭在枪林弹雨之间，经历过许多生死攸关的危急时刻，结下了深厚的友谊。最终，凯尔死在了战场上，心碎的麦克斯竟患上了战后创伤应激症，无法作战也不肯认新主人的麦克斯只能离开了军队。凯尔的家人领养了麦克斯，凯尔的弟弟贾斯汀（乔什·维金斯JoshWiggins饰）格外疼爱这是有故事的忠犬，在凯尔家人的温柔守护下，麦克斯的心理疾病渐渐康复，重新展现出了活力。就在一家人其乐融融之时，一位名为泰勒（卢克·克莱坦克LukeKleintank饰）的男子出现在了麦克斯面前，声称自己是凯尔曾经的战友。
