Synopsis
素琴，一个普通的不能再普通的农村女人，家庭条件非常艰苦，就在这种情况下，她收养了八个身世不幸的孤儿，给了他们一个清贫但温暖的家。村中有一个老光棍“富贵儿”单身多年，一直想与素琴共同生活，但是素琴因为某些事件态度坚决，不接受这份感情。某企业董事长知道素琴这些事迹后又会作出怎样的选择呢……
