Synopsis
一位台湾教授大陆寻根，不幸丢失了女儿。失踪的女孩后来被一位好心的农民李大山收养，由于李大山家境贫寒，又在事故中变成了残疾，只好让自己的亲生儿子小辉辍学，让拣回来的义女李叶继续完成学业直至供她上了大学。为此他们父子付出常人难以忍受的艰辛，但李叶上大学后隐约知道了自己的身世，同时陷入了极度的自卑，并和养父渐渐疏远。
