Synopsis
1981年，9岁的凯特生活在爱尔兰乡下的一个大家庭里，由于兄弟姐妹太多，她在家中一直被忽视。因为母亲马上又要生产了，凯特被临时送到远房亲戚的家里去过一个夏天。凯特意外地适应这个环境，在这里，温柔的夫妻俩让凯特学会了与自然相处，也学会了与安静的自己和解。然而，在这个安静的家庭里，还有一个悲伤的秘密。
